Sewing Pixies

 

Hello Lovelys 

 

I hope you enjoy my website and all my funky creations 

I have always loved creating things big or small, messy or tidy.

But after making and creating so many differnt projects I finally picked up my needle n thread and dusted the dust off my sewing machine again and I started making little things and doing some alterations to clothes. I first learnt the basics of sewing and to use differnt sewing machines when i was young with my mum who also loves switching her sewing machine on from time to time and making a quilt or something for the home. After finding my passion for sewing and being surrounded by magical pixie like woodland lands in Somerset I was coming up with loads of ideas i wanted to put together and shareI started looking at patterns  and experimenting drawing up my own patterns, after a painfully slow learning curve, a whole load of time, making mistakes here and there and correcting them I finally came out with a waistcoat made in red tartan as showen in the picture on the right.

After I made one I started to expiriment with putting a hood on my waistcoats so I experimented with other designs only this time with hoods, When friends came to visit they all liked my waistcoats and said how they would love to wear something like that, I realised i should make more so everyone can have a pixies creation.

 

Since then I loved how happy my clothing ideas made someone so I have made hooded waistcoats in differnt shapes and sizes for a number of happy ladys, I have also been experimenting in making mens waistcoats (coming soon). 

To further my expirence and also learn more about Corsetry I decided to do a corset making course in Bristol city which I succssfully completed, The course was very helpful and since then I have been making Victorian Corsets made in a variose differnt fabrics and colours. I will be continuing to make waistcoats and corsets so please feel free to contact me about ideas or if you have something in mind you would like made or if you see one of my pixie creations on my website you love and want.
